For History Day the children at Whittington had the opportunity to travel back through the ages. There were a range of activities and games; including music through the ages, fossil making, archaeology digging, WWII games, Stone Age cooking, Egyptian mask making and Victorian laundry!!
The children (and staff) were invited to dress up as historical figures and there was a competition for best costume - it was difficult to choose winners as the outfits were all fantastic!!
All the children had a wonderful day (despite the rain!) and enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about History.
Well done to all our horrible historians for travelling back in time and making History Day great fun!
