In Reception and Year 1, we have been thinking about how everyone is different, no matter where they come from, or what their background is. We have created lots of faces to represent people from all around the world and talked about how there are people from many cultures in our own city of Worcester and even within our school!
In Year 2 we have also been talking about how people are different and have made 'Paper People' to show how people can look very different from one another. We have linked them together to show that we hope people, whoever they are, can be friends.
In Years 3 and 4 we have been looking at the religious symbols of the six main World Faiths - Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism and Buddhism. They have been displayed in a circle, representing our world and also pieced together as a jigsaw, showing that religious communities can live alongside one another.
In Years 5 and 6 we have created an 'Interfaith Skyline', using the key features of the sacred buildings of the 6 main World Faiths. Can you spot a mosque? Or a synagogue?
Take a look at our Interfaith Gallery...
We all came to view the Gallery and see what all the other classes had been up to! We hope you enjoy the finished artwork!
