Thankfulness Spring 1 2016

This half term we have been thinking about our core value of Thankfulness and all the things that we have in our lives that we are grateful for.

Year 6 have been thinking about all of the basic needs that are met in their day to day life, things like shelter, access to clean water,  food, love, families and good health. They have created their own 'emojis' to show their appreciation for all of these things. The children have also written prayers and wishes for those less fortunate, in the hope that, perhaps one day,  all human needs will be met.

The children of Year 5 have been appreciating the wonders of the natural world around us and have written Thank You cards to God to give thanks for 'beauty of the frosted spider's web' and 'the warm glow of the sun'.
