Early Help Offer
In school we offer advice, help and support where there is a specific need or difficulty within a family. We know children and young people are always growing and developing and as such their needs change, as well as the needs of their families and carers. Early help is about supporting you & your child when there is a challenge in your lives as soon as possible.
Help can often be accessed in school or in partnership with services such as Family Support, the School Nursing Team & other local providers (see table below). If you have a concern that you need help with, please contact either your child’s class teacher or Helen Willcox, the school’s Inclusion Coordinator, as a first port of call. She can be reached easily through Class Dojo or via email on hwillcox@whittington.worcs.sch.uk. She can also be seen at the school gate during the week. She will be best placed to support you and signpost you to various means of support. You may also wish to look at the attached booklet ‘Worcestershire Early Help Strategy’ as this contains lots of useful information too.
If you have any questions or queries please just ask.
